Unfortunately you haven't mentioned the prize - a little something from your sock drawer maybe?
Anyway, on the basis that such an objet d'art would have caused weeks if not months of controversy in Germany, I would have to guess this is from the Abiko of the previous year. Presumably the local Fureai Kaikan or some such, what with the coveted space in the centre of the rotary in front of the station being occupied by the sculpture of the girl juggling pineapples.
