1) In the folds of his sofa (by the way, apparently the Japanese prime minister is looking for a stronger sofa according to the Japan Times. Our Man's tip: Sofas are tricky, don't buy one at IKEA unless you are 7ft tall)
2) On the back of an envelope.
3) In the sticky patch behind the fridge.
Anyway, Our Man can't pretend to understand all that Mish the Bish (is that right Dr Kildare?) says just here, but Our Man likes the sound of his retort don't believe the Monetarist mumbo-jumbo or the Keynesian Krap (Our Man may be paraphrasing a bit here) about Lessons to be Learned from Japan's lost decade(s). Could it be that this chap who knows a fair bit about finance and such actually supports the dambusters of the DPJ?
Nahh, couldn't be that someone in the DPJ knows what they are doing.
Speaking of lost decades, anyone remember this from one of Our Man's many lost years?
Card catalogues, ahh the Dewey Decimal system. That's how you find stuff.

To lose one decade may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose two looks like carelessness.
*helps self to another sherry*
it's great to finally hear someone asking a sensible question about the economic problems.
may I suggest some more.
1 the rev paperboy looks alarmingly similar to Helicopter ben Bernanke.Although he obviously got all the sanity thereby forcing the rest of us to suffer under the heavily print ink stained hand of his relative.
2 given that glass steagall was passed in the Depression to limit leverage in the banking system,do the panel think it's any coincidence that after it was repealed in 1998,that there was an exponential growth in the broader measures of money supply.
all I can say is let's kick his cousin to the Kerb and let the rev have the Fed.
I'm gonna start a facebook campaign.Anyone know how to do it.
