This was good for a chuckle, but a rather melancholy one. I don't think my kids will ever appreciate the nauseatingly addictive scent of the Sunday paper or the rhythmic clickety-clack of a good typist and the whzzzzz-chhhng! of the carriage return.
Our Man agrees to a point. He'd rather be with the old school hacks having a laugh and a punny headline or two going after wrong-doers rather than the nerdy collators of lists, but he doesn't miss the little Hitlers who populated newsrooms and editors' chairs the world over.
