Is this yet another false dawn of the end of the LDP? Maybe, see never misunderestimate the uselessness of the political class to do the right thing, or the inability of of the bloggerati to read the tea leaves right, BUT, Our Man reckons the end of the long goodbye to Ozawa is a GOOD THING. Now, can we have a street-smart hero to give Aso and his rotten borough cronies a run for their (our) money please?

Wonder if Aso claims a second home allowance? Or maybe shares a cleaner with his brother? Or claimed any bathplugs on expenses?
Mere loose change as far as Aso is concerned. Don't think Aso has ever been short of a few bob to need to diddle the accounts, his corruption is much more profound. Where to begin? How about with POW slave labour in his dad's mines...
I like Jaspar Fforde. Have you read his alphabet book?
Our Man's ashamed to say he never heard of Jasper Fforde until he found the dust jacket pic by accident and thought it was apt for this post. Having looked him up on wikipedia, think he is definitely an author whose books belong on Our Man's shelf. What do you recommend?
